A peek into my world...

Cayden was planted in cement with his boots. After he stopped panicking he figured out the whole rock-throw-splash bit.

Mia and her little cousin splashed and played in Paw's creek. Paw would have been so happy to have been there. I'm sure there's one just like it in heaven!

Cayden loved his cousin from Oregon. What fun is a human toy who loves you so!

This is Elle who is full of Grace. I'm so thankful to have her peacefulness in my life.

Crossing the creek with a photographer and her new camera made me nervous. But nothing came between her and a photo opportunity!

This was the weird face picture. Not a very good photo but a memory I wanted to keep of the cousins and their punkins.

Sweet joy in cattails

Cayden loved the cattail seeds that Adam spread all over the grass in some 7 year old kid experiment. Cayden would pick them up, the wind would blow and the chase was on! Then he discovered that he could "get" me with them. Cattail seeds have replaced bubbles at our house!

Natural Lighting with my babes

This is what happens when the natural lighting is a bit too bright!

Ahhh she can open her eyes!

I love shooting into the evening sun. It gives the picture a light airy feel.

Cayden wants to go, "Out! Out! Out!" I used the natural lighting inside the house. I just stood him in front of the slider in the evening. I like the reflection in the glass....I guess I could edit out his third eye and second mouth!

Mia and Adam

This is my 4 year old daughter, Mia. She goes around the yard and picks me a bouquet of flowers and weeds almost everyday. I love what she picks (no matter what!) and her love for me expressed in gifts of flowers.
Notice how the background is blurred in the picture above. Notice where the depth of field is. Notice Mia, my focal point is off to the side. Do you think these were good choices?
Where is my depth of field in this picture above?
Would you change anything in this photo above?

Meet Adam who's 7!

Sunflower Patch

Cayden 15 mos.
Tonight we found a sunflower patch. Cayden loved finding treasures.... I think he collected a pine cone, a rock and finally found a flower! I chased him around and took about 80 pictures!  It was so fun for me to photograph with a beautiful background as the sun was setting!
This is located off of 68 just south of Young's Dairy Farm...get there quickly because the sunflowers don't have much longer to live!

Welcome to THAT Co-op!!!!

Cayden and cousin Georgia......."Kiss her Cayd!"
Hi! Here's my favorite pic of the day. I love the light streaming in. I wish I could see more of his face.
